We manufacture our SDT Brakes Racing RS55 car brake pads with a semi-metallic organic compound (RS-55), developed for racing and competition driving. Ideal for off-road use, desert adventures or rally raid.
Features and advantages of the RS55 racing compound from SDT BRAKES:
- Semi-metallic organic compound (asbestos-free)
- Improved pedal feel, progression and braking performance.
- Good initial feel at low temperatures and medium initial bite.
- Excellent modulation and braking control.
- Low wear rate.
- Easy bedding-in.
- Lower noise level and less aggressive on the disc (Unlike the RT66 and RR80 compounds, which are more aggressive).
Main applications: off-road use and rally raid.
Operating range from 0°C to 700°C. Friction coefficient 0.51 µ.
